Bacon and egg on toast

Serves: 1

Ingredients

1 Slice of Bread

2 Slices of Bacon

1 Egg

May contain soya

 

Method

1. Fill a small sauce pan half full with water and bring it to the boil, on a medium heat. 

2. Place the bacon on the grill pan and cook for a couple of minutes each side. When cooked pull of any visible fat.

3. Toast the bread. 

4. Turn down the heat of the water and then stir the water to create a vortex then crack the egg into the water and poach for around 2 minutes.

5. Lay the bacon on top of the toast, then add the poached egg. 

You can try wholemeal bread instead of white bread to help increase the fibre content of this meal.
