Meet the Team
Zowie is a Registered Dietitian, specialising in adult weight management including bariatric surgery, adult eating disorders and gastroenterology. She works in private healthcare and within the NHS. Zowie is passionate about providing evidence based nutritional information and dispelling nutritional myths. She takes a realistic and holistic approach, developing and implementing therapeutic diets and lifestyle advice, helping her patients improve their quality of life in managing a wide range of conditions such as obesity, bariatric pre and post-surgery, disordered eating and eating disorders, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and is passionate about helping people maximise their sporting performance through nutrition education.
Vicky James is a Registered Dietitian specialising in infant and child nutrition. She has a wealth of clinical experience having worked in NHS hospitals for many years. Vicky’ s special area of interest is Allergy & Gastroenterology, she advises on a wide range of infant and child dietary issues including food allergies, cystic fibrosis, eating disorders, weight management, iron deficiency anaemia, faltering growth, weaning, and faddy eating. Vicky provides evidence-based, friendly practical advice helping families understand their child’s nutritional needs for optimal growth and development.
Jacqui is a Registered Dietitian specialising in adult diabetes, weight management, bariatric’s and sports nutrition. She has many years of experience practicing as a clinical dietitian within the NHS and private healthcare. As a specialist diabetes dietitian Jacqui provides dietary strategies helping her patients achieve better blood glucose control. Her patients range from those with type 1, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes. She also provides education and training on apps to help better monitor and control blood glucose levels. Jackie also works as a sports nutritionist, for UK Athletics, England Hockey and Netball and British Motor Racing Association helping athletes achieve their sporting goals.
Dr Morton is an experienced clinical psychologist having worked in the NHS for many years. Her expertise lies in cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focused therapy and schema therapy. As both a yoga teacher and a clinical psychologist she takes a holistic approach to wellbeing and views nutrition and appropriate exercise as key in developing and maintaining good mental and physical health. She has a long-standing interest in eating difficulties, relationship difficulties, managing emotions and addictions. She is able to support you in working towards your wellbeing goals using evidence based psychological approaches and tools.
